Well for once I can agree with Tipsy Pops. Ngannou looks awful bcs he is awful at boxing. Everybody knows this. It is interesting to see how he seems to have convinced himself of the lie that this was a good fight and now he is changing his mind as he sees the reality of how hopeless Ngannou is. And what he ends up doing is finally confirming exactly what everyone was saying from the very beginning that this is trash. I guess he just forgot to lie for once or something. Anyway, glad to see even the Tipsy family admits it now that this fight is complete garbage.

Pretty sad that top MMA fighters are paid so low that they always try to get top level boxers to fight them to make some decent money. The only people ****** enough to pay these fights are the MMA fans with Affliction shirts and their Monster Energy drinks.

I think you are discounting that the avg potential PPV buyer isn't thinking John's predicting the future & downplaying the opp is the thing. They see this as sh^t talking the opp & they either wanna see Tyson KO1 Ngannou like John is saying or think the opposite is gonna happen as ppl who are fans of or supporting Ngannou. Everyone isn't dorking out on boxing like we do here & know Ngannou has slim odds in this fight. They just are doing their thing without following boxing day to day & casually decide to buy a fight like this cuz it catches their interest for one reason or another. And it tends to catch there interest by viral things like this or past & future things that have been said or done or will be said or done.
I think you've nailed it. The old adage is "There's no accounting for taste" come to mind.
Some of us see boxing as a deadly serious thing, and it certainly can be that; while others are here to paint "Just Bleed" on their beer belly and scream. But everybody has to pay for the ticket.
I've had involvement with Boxing since the early 70s and I think that I'm pretty serious about it, but as I said; this fight is fun.

Of COURSE the odds are as long as for Fury jumping into the UFC and winning that title. Maybe even longer, I'd say, mathing out the tools, history and talent pool size. But so what?

        And Just a thought here.....
The is no way whatsoever to end a basketball game with one basket. No way to end a tennis match with one swing.
You see where I'm going with this?
Ngannou is not an accomplished pro boxer.
But he IS a boxer, and he IS a great fighter.

        Have some fun.

100%. The avg person speaking on boxing in NSB every day damn near is more serious about boxing than 99% of the rest of the world. Everyone here is a boxing fan outlier. We are not the avg boxing fans by any metric. And those ppl that are the avg boxing fans got a more relaxed & fun energy towards boxing in general & with fights like this one.
