Dumb statement. Now people are gonna say Russell is a cheater even if he beats Ennis.

It would be a great fight. Obviously the pros are different than amateur boxing. Russell is like a smaller modern version of Bert Lytell, a southpaw infighter with a high workrate and a vicious body attack. Boots is slick like Charley Burley except he switch hits

He has exceptional timing, power,.elite.jab, can fight from.all ranges, and has Lomachenkoish type of footwork. He is the perfect combination of athleticism, defense, and offense imo (even though I think Shaku is P4P the most technical boxer in the game). Plus, his ability to be just as powerful in both stances separates him from most. Let's put it this way, the Spence that fought Crawford, do you see Ennis struggling with that Spence? No. How about Broom, Kava, Porter, Aanyesian, Khan, Ugas Android Benavodez? He would make light work of all of them imo.
Sounds great but Jaron Ennis hasn't actually beaten any of those guys and neither did Antuanne Russell but.... I can tell you who Russell actually did beat, and that is Jaron Ennis, and he beat him more than once.

just because you beat someone in the ametures don't mean you can beat them in the pro's, Boots beats the shyt out of him now, not even close

So has Gary Antuanne. They all get "touched."

Who has Ennis hit behind the head? I see this lie repeated a lot.

Ennis is great on the outside and holds his own inside....provided...Ennis is the stronger guy. In the amateurs Ennis and Antuanne were young, Atuanne's hand speed got him inside where his physical strength allowed him to be effective for 3 rounds. Today both are older and Ennis is big and getting bigger and stronger.

IMO, "down the road" Ennis will be at 154 - 168lbs and too big and too strong for Antuanne to get inside and still be effective for 12 rounds. But maybe that's just my opinion.
