Comments Thread For: Gary Russell Jr. Believes That His Brother, Gary Antuanne, Has The "Cheat-code" To Beat Jaron Ennis

Jaron Ennis had his way with practically everyone in the amateurs. His combination of power, speed, and endurance was deadly. So much so that essentially no one had an answer for it. Well, except for Gary Antuanne Russell. All three of his amateur losses came at the hands of Russell. Ennis did manage to pick up a win against him but he was still forced to accept that Russell had his number.

He needs more than a cheat code. He needs Game Genie.

Why?....Jaron has many holes in his game. He's been touched by multiple fighters with less skill than Gary Antuanne.

People hype Jaron up because of the "eye test" vs the talent he's faced.......What happens when he faces someone with a more efficient skill set and aren't afraid to be in the ring with him.

Not a big fan of Gary Russell Jr. beyond what he does in the ring... He's been caught fabricating history for the sake of clout a couple times. But as far as his comment regarding his brother, I'm not sure it's a cheat code, Gary Antuanne is a talented fighter in his own right. I was privileged to see 2 of their match ups in person. It's only right that we boxing fans are gifted with seeing these 2 in the ring as pros. Maybe they can give us an epic trilogy.

They thought eachother at 64kg (141lbs) 4 times in like a year when they was like 17 I think Russell was 18 acutally with Russel jr winning 3 fights and Ennis winning 1. but since then ennis has grew in size where as Gary antuanne Russel has stayed the same size in fact he comes in lower than 64kg for his fights now. Ennis is a big welterweight can see him going to 154 and 160 eventually and Antuanne Russell makes 140 very easily to the point he's like 2 and a half pounds under the limit. But in a few years if there still around the same kinda weight and if there both making noise in boxing then who knows they could fight but it's not something that will happen in the near future I don't think

The Cheat code is to hit Ennis Behind the head first, before Ennis does it to him.

Mmmmm I disagree. From the outside looking in, it seems as though Ennis.geta hit a lot but when you look closer he is exceptional at rolling with punches and parrying (a master at the 52 blocks.like Judah). He has exceptional timing, power,.elite.jab, can fight from.all ranges, and has Lomachenkoish type of footwork. He is the perfect combination of athleticism, defense, and offense imo (even though I think Shaku is P4P the most technical boxer in the game). Plus, his ability to be just as powerful in both stances separates him from most. Let's put it this way, the Spence that fought Crawford, do you see Ennis struggling with that Spence? No. How about Broom, Kava, Porter, Aanyesian, Khan, Ugas Android Benavodez? He would make light work of all of them imo.
