What a friggin shame that Zhang likely won't get a great fight after this. HW boxing is dead set on not getting us great fights!

Fury certainly won't fight Zhang. And I doubt Hrgovic wants a rematch, since he arguably lost the first fight. But Usyk will take that smoke if he makes it. I hope people give Zhang credit here, and don't just crap all over Joyce, but it's NSB so...

I hope that Zhang doesn't rot on the vine like Ortiz did and age out before he gets a shot at a legitimate belt. I will say this Zhang looks 40ish while Ortiz always struck me as a good number of years older than his submitted age.

OH...flush right hand. It's true...you get your first beating, it lessens your punch resistance...

As I have been saying for sometime, actually since Parker fight. I honestly believe not only was that Joyce's best performance as a professional, but the damage he sustain in that fight was underrated 'I think since that fight Joyce has been burnt out'.

Parker is a solid serious puncher, and he hit Joyce with all of his best most powerful punches 'There was nothing much more Parker could of done in that fight'. Many people overlooked the effects of that fight for Joyce, but I saw interviews during the aftermath were Joyce was clearly damaged.

Overall his career since leaving team Hayemaker, the match making most of the time has been bad 'Even the Dubois fight could of been made at a different time, and been a mega fight for not fighters.

Zhang vs Joyce I, was a unnecessary fight to take for Joyce 'But the rematch was always going to happen. Because Joyce is that type of fighter, and understood the importance of avenging a loss 'And not trying to get away from that challenge'.

Zhang vs Fury, well? That may be a bigger business fight than Uysk vs Fury.

Zhang vs Uysk or Fury that is a mega fight 'Mega opportunity for the Champion who wants to take on that challenge' etc.

I watched Joyce coming up and always felt he was flat footed and it was only a matter of time before his invincible chin was rocked, he took way too many punches in every bout (imagine how many more in training) he’s kind of fortunate he never fought Wilder because it could have been fatal.

Still, it was sad to see Joyce cut a figure of someone who’d lost belief in himself, it was like Elvis’ last concert, he was there in body but not in mind. I think he has to retire, for his health, it’s already likely he’s had way too many head injuries.

How fortunes change in this sport ...Joyce was a boogeyman just a year ago.

I was thinking the same, took a lot of shots in the two fights before Zhang. He isn’t the same fighter since he lost his invincible chin, reminds a bit of Mike Tyson.
