But Zhang's problem would be Wilder's fast feet. Wilder can come in and attack because of his reach and his foot speed, Zhang would have to box Wilder smart similar to Ortiz and find a way to catch him. It would not be easy... George Foreman said it best: God help the man that chases a bona fide puncher! Chasing Wilder would not go well for Zhang. And Wilder has no problems letting his opponent come to him.
Zhang is very slow footed. To keep things in perspective: With Wilder's reach and foot speed, he is only about two steps away... max... at any part of the ring from his opponent at any given time. And with no real need to cut the ring, or otherwise pressure his opponent, for Wilder it is just a matter of when he wants to launch an attack. David Haye fought this way BTW. Zhang has no real way to pressure Wilder, this is what makes Wilder so dangerous! Fury, with exceptional boxing skills and reach could do things no other fighter in the division could do to Wilder.
