I expect Canelo vs Charlo makes circa 900k in US. Slightly more than Plant.

Fury vs Ngannou makes less in US. But, worldwide goes to Fury vs Ngannou because of UK. UK fans are too solid.

I don't think Fury vs Ngannou will be a big selling fight with either boxing or UFC fans. I think both fan bases have now got the message that MMA fighters can't compete with boxers at boxing. The UFC/Ngannou fans won't feel good about paying to see their guy get schooled in a boxing ring, and most boxing fans are so pissed off with Fury staging yet another cash grab instead of unifying with Usyk that they won't want to pay for this crap either.

That's the way I see it, but this is such an unusual match-up that I guess anything is possible with regard to PPV buys, especially after the success of Fury's Netflix series, which is probably being watched by many who are neither boxing nor MMA fans.

I'm in the UK and Fury's rep here has taken a massive hit with boxing fans after his duck of Usyk.

The kind of fans who usually bump up PPV numbers in the UK - fans like me - won't be paying for this. The only thing that might save it are the people who are not boxing fans and don't follow the sport, but have taken a liking to Fury as a celebrity/personality after watching his Netflix series.

Isn’t Mike Tyson the cornerman for Francis? That presence alone will bring in huge PPV buys.

I'm in the UK as well. They made PPV price cheap because of that. It's $40 and £30. Netflix series increased Fury's fame. BT Sport became TNT Sports and they're trying to market new network via Fury etc..

            It will make good money.

The kind of fans who bump up ppv do not care about fury usyk and most only seen usyk cause of aj. And will buy fury ngannou. They are the ones who just buy big events for the hype. The casual audience doesn't care about things like undisputed or belts like boxing fans do

                Half serious, maybe 3/4.

Usyk offers nothing for Fury. Average power, hates it to the body = Easy win inside the distance. Very light threat.
Quite possibly the most overrated top fighter in the game.

At least Ngannou brings some mystery to the fight. A pure Boxer who quickly learned enough Wrestling, BJJ and Kickboxing to swallow MMA whole; Ngannou can punch.

I think that curiosity is what sells this fight.

Reason number 2 - The fight is in the middle of the afternoon on the east coast and noon time on the west coast. Due to saudi arabia time zone. Who's ordering a ppv fight at 1pm in LA?

Ngannou vs fury ppv will suffer due to time difference
Oh sh^t yea you're right. I didn't even think about that &/or it slipped my mind. They def ain't gonna do better numbers with an earlier in the day main event.

I need to flip my vote lol.

I think Fury feels like he is in Mayweather fighting McGregor position.
