It doesn’t matter what you think Team Canelo saw.

If you agree that Bivol is #1 or #2 at 175 lbs than just give Canelo credit for taking a tough fight.

    • There's nothing wrong with being #2 P4P Canelo.

If he took the fight because he thought it was a tough fight, yes he should have all the credit, but we know why he took the fight and I, like thousands of my fellow fans can think whatever we want, especially when it comes to canelo choosing opponents.

You have no idea why he took the fight, you can’t read his thoughts.

At the end of the day Bivol is a very challenging opponent. Especially for someone who really doesn’t belong at 175. Canelo chose a tough fight when he didn’t have to, just like he did when he fought Trout and when he fought Lara. That’s the bottom line.

I thought pacqio's fans were bad, but you guys are the worst. Everyone knows why he took the fight, just like everyone knows why he's not taking on benavidez, and why he's not rematching bivol. He fougt trout was an open score, and he lost to Lara, the right thing to do was give Lara a rematch, but no, he just shut his pipe pretending nothing happened. He's a fraud and a diva, and ran away from bivol, just like he's doing now with benavidez. He's a delusional diva.

No, you Canelo haters are the worst.

You can’t simply give the guy credit for having moved up in weight to face an elite fighter like Bivol. You have to tarnish it and make it a bad thing somehow. Meanwhile, whoever your favorite fighter is I guarantee he isn’t challenging himself like that.

He was not challenging himself nor he thought he was elite, and he is a lhw himself, he's been a lhw since he was in his early 20's. The Russian looked like crap in his previous fight, that's why he was chosen. We don't hate canelo, but when you proclaim yourself that you're the King and face of boxing, act like one, don't be talking big, and act small and trying to step all over your opponents with those outrageous demands.

Again, either Bivol is a challenging opponent or he is not. It’s very simple.

Pick which side you stand on.

In hindsight, yes. But everybody is right after the facts. We know he didn't took the fight because it was a 50/50, hommie don't play that. Why he didn't pay the guy and fought him again? Why he didn't exercise his rematch clause? The guy is a good fighter that goldenboy made him a star. Good looks, Mexican, good fighter with granite chin, never elite, the matchmaking made him what he is today. Every time he has stepped up, he has lose and the judging has save him.

Nelo couldve been a challenge to floyd, but floyd don't like challenges, that's why the CW. GGG was too much of a challenge even though everyone said he was overated. So Floyd really had a narrow choice of opponents to fight.
