He cheated his fans and himself if he knew he was hurt and still went ahead with the fight. Why he didn't fight him the first time the fight was brought up? Oh I remember, the guy with a 100 tattoos was afraid of needles. A few years later he goes thru with the fight and after the fight, he had a bad shoulder. He lost his chance, he wasn't the same pacquio after all those wars with Marquez and Morales. He should have fought him 4 or 5 years before. We have probably has seen two or three fraud vs pac fights.
If it's good enough for them why not floyd? As I say it's hard to gauge floyd histirically. If floyd wants to be compared to them and be considered as great He's got to do what they did!
He's not fighting abroad so why not rematch nelo? He's not fighting toughest available, no bud, spence, brook, thurman, bradley so why no rematch with nelo?
Rematches allow us to learn more about floyd, that he is better h2h. Without rematches he's an enigma and hard to judge floyd. I'm thinking prime pac wouldve and prime Nell destroys floyd. Why dont floyd show im underestimating floyd? I'm thinking If floyd fights abroad he loses, but again he leaves it too the imagination, it's hard to judge where floyd fits in? All whilst guys like you saying he doesnt need to do this or do that? Well, I'm sure if being great isn't important then by all means don't do rematches, or fight abroad, or fight all the toughest in your division is that asking too much?Last edited by hugh grant; 09-17-2023, 07:59 PM.

They didn't do a proper scouting, bivol fights a the level of competition, everytime he stepped in class, he put a master class. After kovalev they believed in their hype, they forgot that a few weeks before the fight, he was in a grueling fight with yarde, they knew another camp so soon was on their advantage and on top of that he was a drunken and had some legal issues, they forgot it was a cherry picking.
That is not appearance. That is the truth.

It was wide decision but not that bad
Think Alvarez won 3 rounds and the fight had many competitive rounds

Rematches tell us more, and as floyd didn't do them he's a mystery, an enigma. Hard to say where floyd is in history.
I mean the first duran v srl, was what SRL did wrong in first fight and he corrected mistakes in 2nd and 3rd fight. SRR corrected his mistakes against Turpin. Floyd refusing to allow his fellow ATG win rematch don't make floyd great, opposite in fact along lines of smoke and mirrors

Blame canelo that couldn't take the torch away, he was younger, stronger, still he lost almost every round and looked like crap. Who did fraud fought after him? Maidana twice and pacquio. By that time ginger was over with his 154 experiment and moved closer to his natural weight. Why ginger didn't gave him a rematch to Lara? He knew he has lost that fight. Ginger has only rematched ggg and lost the first fight, and he didn't won the second, he tried to aged the Russian and backfire. Why do you say if fraud fights abroad he loses? Because he's going to get cheated out of a victory? I'm not a fan of his nor canelo or pacquio. Out of the three, pac tool more chances and fought more greats in their prime, that canelo/fraud put together. But I do recognize he was an elite talent, with a master in matchmaking and marketing, but he never fought Paul Williams nor Margarito at welter, and he skipped Casamayor 130/135.
No, floyd fighting abroad the victory will carry more respect, rather than wanting floyd to get robbed. So Nell and pac were robbed is that what your saying? Nel o werent robbed but he knew judges and ref were on floydvside.
Histories greatest fighters have got some amazing stats, and all we wanted was floyd to boast equivalent. Floyd can't boast it so I can't put floyd on same level.
I d favour Nelo to have beat floyd in rematch, so Floyd's win over Nell is no big deal, not end of world for nelo, other than floyd wouldn't give rematch.Last edited by hugh grant; 09-18-2023, 09:01 AM.

Alvarez has to make the rematch, all great fighters if? Given the opportunity, will try and avenge their defeats.
I still give Alvarez a chance to win at 175 pounds 'Bivol & Alvarez are not miles apart skill for skill. It was endurance, movement and the lacking of gears which once again loss Alvarez a fight'.
These were the same attributes which Mayweather pressured. Floyd Mayweather Junior in my opinion, his win was more impressive than Bivol's.
Alvarez and Bivol were basically the same weight class 'Take away the day before weigh in, Alvarez for a long time has been at 168- 175 pound fighter'.
Maywewather Junior was being out weighed by potentially 15-20 pounds on fight night vs Alvarez 'Mayweather was also outside of his peak, other versions of Mayweather Junior for me could of potentially forced a stoppage vs Alvarez' etc.
