    Thoughts on Benavidez vs Andrade?

I think it’s a good fight tbf, despite Andrade consistently avoiding top level competition, I do think he’s a talented fighter and I expect him to give Benavidez problems early. However, I expect the bigger, younger and fresher Benavidez to catch up with him around the middle rounds and then stop him late.

How do you see the fight going?

Mid-to-late rounds stoppage for Benavidez. Boo Boo is already 35yo and the smaller man with limited power whereas Benavidez is a stone-cold KILLER entering his prime who will walk straight through him.

Andrade is arguably second biggest boi in the division. Not much smaller. He has comparable proportions with Plant and Morrell.

Has the fight even been made official or are they just p.ussyfooting around? For all this talk about both being the most ducked boxers in the history of boxing, they sure are doing everything they can to not get this signed.

Smaller in the sense that he won his first world title at Junior Middleweight whereas Benavidez is a career Super Middleweight who actually fought at Light Heavyweight early in his career.

Not official yet but it’s being slated for Nov 11th in Vegas.

I'm struggling to see how Andrade can win tbh. Not convinced he's any better than Plant.

Some fighters start at much lighter division than their natural weight.

Chavez Jr. started at 130. He is natural 164...ish.

Andrade is tall and ain't skinny.

I haven't seen Andrade have a monkey wrench thrown into his gears and Benavidez carries two monkey wrenches called Lefty and Righty. However Andrade's footwork is streets ahead of Benavidez, David will have to work on his footwork.

I know but this will only be Andrade’s second fight at Super Middleweight (he’s 35) whereas Benavidez could easily move up to Light Heavyweight (where he fought previously). That’s my point.
