Frank Martin may not say much outside of the ring, but fans of the lightweight contender are demanding answers. It never mattered who was mentioned, Martin always believed that no one in the lightweight division could beat him in the ring. With Devin Haney officially moving up in weight, Shakur Stevenson, along with Gervonta Davis, is viewed as the best 135-pounder around. Martin though, disagrees.

Martin is not a star and this is a shot at a vacant title. If he is not fighting after it was ordered it is a duck. Munguia, Andrade, Ramirez have all ducked a profitable name fighter supposedly for a better fight that never came.

He would be better off saying that he is not ready for a fighter like Stevenson and that he had to work on some things because of his last fight. His silence speaks louder than his words.
