    What grade U in now?
He weighed 165, true but if it was because of a contractual obligation, I've seen no evidence of it.

There was no rehydration clause in the fight.

Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26 KO’s) will have no rehydration clause in the contract for their catch-weight fight at 152 pounds, according to Steve Kim. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is saying that the rehydration clause wasn’t included. What this means, of course, is that Canelo can rehydrate as much as much as he wants. If Canelo wants to rehydrate to 172 lbs. like he did in his last fight in April against Austin Trout, then there’s nothing stopping him from doing so.

Other than his ability to overcome extreme dehydration, which he could not completely accomplish

Everything is obvious from behind your eyeballs, we all think, but on the other side it's an illusion where everybody sees a different movie, making their obvious.

Vs Bivol he was the clear favourite (******ly) and lost every round, where the underdog laid off him when he was trapped on the ropes. Bivol could have killed him at any time if he opened up but he wanted to preserve the chance of a rematch

Don't even mention about his injury and 185 lbs fight night weight. Still won around 4 rounds.

Froid was much smaller. Despite catchweight BS, Canelo should have performed better. It was clearly better win by a smaller man.

I wonder if Canelos extreme was at the same extreme as Cotto Oscar vs Manny, same two pounds isn't it, some things we will never know for sure aye.

WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) is willing to drop a few pounds to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs). Mayweather is the World Boxing Council's champion at 147-pounds. Alvarez has no problem facing Mayweather at a catch-weight of 150-pounds.

"It's what I want, the Mayweather fight. That's what we put on the table. I feel more mature and for that I am willing to go down to 150 pounds," said Canelo to Sal Rodriguez. "De la Hoya said he was going to pursue the Mayweather fight [for me]. We are ready for it. It's what people want, for me to fight someone like [Mayweather]."
