Froid was much smaller. Despite catchweight BS, Canelo should have performed better. It was clearly better win by a smaller man.
I'll add this option in the poll next time... Nelo's worst career loss was against himself... lol

He took more of a beating from Bivol; Floyd just made him look foolish and never really hurt him. I reckon Bivol did both. AND Bivol was expected to lose by mostly everyone. So… Bivol?

For floyd, he got an excuse, but still a weak excuse that he is young. For bivol, there is no excuse. He cherry picked bivol and suffered a humiliating loss.

            - - 23 yr Canelo was washed thru l’l floydy personal judges, ref, commish, and 152lb catchweight to come out untouched sorta like a lousy date.

Bivol gave him a highly technical beating much like he’d do to l’l floydy save l’l floydy would never dare fight Bivol.

We saw him get beat up pillar to post by YouTuber Logan who wouldn’t last 3 rds vs Bivol…

              apples and oranges

On one hand, Floyd was supposed to be his passing of the torch fight and canelo the next big thing but Floyd isnt your average 36 year old and embarrassed Canelo. Still, canelo was young and his career could recover and i like that he didnt get discouraged from having 1 loss and eventually became the #1 p4p.

On the other hand, Bivol being physically larger gave canelo a worse beating and canelo is lucky he didnt get stopped. Canelo is also older now and he hasnt been the same level since this bivol fight, ducked the rematch at 168, and wont take harder fights like benavidez now is taking it easy. its not like floyd where his career still had time to recover.

So floyd embarassed and schooled him and bivol put a beat down on him and started the downhill portion of canelo's career.

Bivol. A prime Nelo don't necessarily beat bivol. Whilst a prime Nelo destroys floyd in a rematch, like eubanks beat Liam smith. Bivol is giving a rematch, whereas floyd dont. Floyd looks worse coming out of this than Bivol does. Floyd's coming out looking worse than Nelo too even, now that's saying something!

Floyd beat a green Canelo. Bivol beat a prime Canelo.

I agree that canelo needs to fight Benavidez
