This talk about Frank eventually getting the Tank fight doesn't make any sense to me. Why not take both fights? Shakur in November, December, then Tank in April, May, June.

Avoiding the Stevenson fight just means he's not confident in winning the fight, which contradicted what he's been declaring -- that he's ready for Shakur.

We saw the same thing at 122 when Frampton, Quigg and Leo Santa Claus refused to mention Rigondeaux

Frampton ducking Rigo still burns me, probably for decades to come. How come you never fought the top guy in your division that had the same nickname as you? Rigo was the true Jackal, Frampton was a pretender.

I think Frank's team decided against this at the last moment. Frank is levels below Shakur and I think they feel they can get a more winnable fight with a comparable or better purse.

Also, I'm not sure Derrick James has the bandwidth to get Frank ready for Shakur, finish training Mell for Canelo and possibly getting Errol ready for a end of year or early next year rematch with Bud. That is an insane workload versus the highest level of fighters.

This is a business move, Arum never let's his fighters go over to Showtime. Why send one of your contenders to fight Stevenson on ESPN when Shakur doesn't even do ppv numbers. I'm pretty sure Martin is getting the Tank fight.

A bunch of knob slobbers in here.
That was not a real offer. No paperwork or phone call. Just an online offer.
