This talk about Frank eventually getting the Tank fight doesn't make any sense to me. Why not take both fights? Shakur in November, December, then Tank in April, May, June next year.

Avoiding the Stevenson fight just means he's not confident in winning the fight, which contradicted what he's been declaring -- that he's ready for Shakur.

Absolutely! Beat Shakur this year, then fight Tank next year! Beating Stevenson's ass will make the Gervonta Davis fight even bigger. Massively bigger. But I guess Martin is absolutely sure of losing to Stevenson.

The overrating of Martin is strong in these forums. I've been seeing him as Keyshawn Davis level. Frank should be thanking WBC for ordering the Shakur fight if he gets the Tank fight as a result.

That's why the sport needs to move on and put a lid on this overrating can of worms. Let's just assume or pretend the WBC order never happened and go back to where it was.

I'd rather see Frank Martin vs Edwin Delos Santos first. It's a PBC inhouse fight where no issues are expected to arise.

It's just a wishful thinking on my part. Of course, Martin vs Delos Santos will never happen, no matter what circumstances, even though it's an easy fight to make on paper. It's high risk, low reward for both fighters. It's also win-lose situation for PBC.

I never heard that so forgive me for not taking your word for it. And as I said before nobody is making any money off of Frank Martin or they wouldn’t have been willing to let him go to ESPN in the first place.

Disappointing to hear this, irritating actually, especially when Martin
has been mentioning Stevenson's name every time he's asked.
And it was ordered by the WBC, which TR on their own would most likely
not make an offer to Martin, who's with PBC, a competing platform.
I mean, is there any better situation or circumstance for Martin other than this?
