Good fight. Wallin is underrated because of the Fury haters. He is actually a decent fighter and must aim at better opposition. Let's see how Gassiev will do against good heavyweights.

You’ll see a one sided UD win from Wallin if he wins and it will look very much like the Usyk vs Gassiev fight . It’s in fact the only way he wins .

Charr has to fight 2 mandatories. First up is WBA #5 Jarrell Miller then I’m not sure who is next after that. Bakole? He is the WBA #2. Wilder & Joshua are #1 & 3 so it’s neither of those guys. Lenier Pero #4 & Makhmudov #6. If neither Charr or Miller fail drug tests I think Miller wins if he is in somewhat decent shape. Bakole or Makhmudov crush Charr. Not sure about Pero. Only seen him fight a couple times against weak opponents. I expect Miller to win so there might be a few interesting matchups in the second mandatory fight. Charr’s days are numbered. The winner of Wallin/Gassiev gets a WBA regional belt so maybe they become the second mandatory.

The WBA ruling on Charr… According to the ruling, the WBA ‘Regualr’ title is not only back in play but will now be at stake for two separate mandatory title defenses. Charr (34-4, 20KOs) was ordered to next face Brooklyn’s Jarrell Miller—an unbeaten fringe contender and multi-time drug testing offender—by no later than October 14. The winner of that bout will then be required to next face the mandatory challenger as named by the WBA by that time.

Gassiev is/was good but he's been fighting less than once a year since his loss in 2018 to Usyk and that too against bums.

Glad this one finally came together and pleasantly surprised! Very interesting matchup of styles. Gassiev brings that power and comes forward, Wallin is big, slightly awkward and has some underrated boxing skills.

Both have been sidelined for reasons not necessarily their fault (injuries, fights falling thru, bad promoters, etc), will be curious what versions of themselves enter the ring on September 30.

I'm a Wallin fan, but I think the Russian gets him in this one. I predict Wallin builds up a big lead with superior boxing and activity only to fade in the later rounds and get caught and stopped.

Wallin by UD. Never was sold on Gassiev. His best win was Dorticos, which was my FOTY. What a war! I felt like I was all out on my own when I predicted the Usyk rout in these boxing forums. People love a “knockout artist”, even if he’s a Russian construct with little real substance behind him.
