Not really. His short edge was just covering his belly button here, below his belly button in other moments. The punch was in an upward swing, and landed clearly below the belt line then continued upwards. Punch was low.

I'm inclined to say it was low, because that's what ref said. But I'm also thinking that was a fight stopping punch even if landed 2 inches higher.

Rewatching it, to me at least, it seems like Dubois did land a clean body shot, Usyk's belt is unusually bigger than most shorts used by professional boxers and is pulled above Usyk's belly button.

He always did have a glass body.

He did not "lose".

If the referee had started counting, he would've gotten back up, hence him dominating the fight before AND after the incident.

Fair shot. It looked in the belly button region which is above the hip bone & in the fair shot region so a better ref would have started counting. Pabon was not a better ref tho & Usyk did what he was supposed to do & use vet tactics to get max recovery time.

This is Usyk standing up straight taking a deep breath while recovering from the knockdown. You can clearly see his navel above the top of his shorts. When he exhales, his navel disappears behind the top of his waistband. He was not wearing his shorts high so punches to the waistband were not allowed. It was a low blow.
