Comments Thread For: Dubois Trainer Says Controversial Punch on Usyk Was 'Long Ways From the Balls'

Daniel Dubois' trainer adamantly insists that his charge did not punch Oleksandr Usyk in the testicles. Ukraine's Usyk, the unified WBO, WBA, IBO, IBF heavyweight champion, stopped England's Dubois in nine rounds before a packed partisan crowd in Wroclaw, Poland.

uysk definitely wasn't hit the balls unless his nuts haven't dropped. it wasn't low either! the punch was right on the belt line. To me that was legal punch. uysk is vulnerable to body shots and he hates them! dubois landed several other body shots that had uysk looking over at the ref complaining like a b!tch!!! Not a good look for uysk.

uysk's balls are located in his belt line? how do you know this? dubois punch landed on the belt line. look at uysk's reaction after getting hit. once you get hit in that area you go to grab your balls to protect them. uysk never did that. his reaction was of a guy who just got blasted in the stomach!

I’ve noticed they don’t say “it wasn’t low” they say “it wasn’t a nut shot.”

          clever

Usyk is a very good fighter, no doubt, but he has a glass body. That was a textbook uppercut that landed on the waistband of Usyk's trunks like many other body uppercuts in many other fights from the boxing history. The ref was doing a poor job anyway. If Usyk is a fair person, he should give Daniel a rematch. The ref stoppage was poor too.

Ill say it was low. There was no need for Ddd to aim there. Especially when usyk was complaining to ref already. This like golota v bowe

The blow was visibly was low and by the rules Usky was entitled to a break. Dubois went low in round two drawing a face from Usky as if to say stop it, and did so again in round three. It has been ages since I sparred but a cup guard can side on you. You do not want to be hit there by a 230 pound heavyweight that can punch.

That's the irony of it all. Not once did Oleksandr ever grabbed his balls once he got hit in the abdomen. He doubled over and touched the canvas. However, he never once favored his crotch or groin area.

Which makes him a total and complete bitch. He laid on the canvas for more than two minutes in order to show Dubois up because he was hurt and attempted to win by disqualification.
