Why do all of you casuals keep insisting that the balls themselves is the only area that can be a low blow? IT'S BELOW THE NAVEL, READ THE DAMN RULES.

What about on the navel? Like centre of glove is **** on the navel and bottom of glove below navel and top of glove above navel?

I thought that Usyk was wearing his trunks beltline below the navel as seen in th ering after the fight ended. If I'm cynical I can think either he or a member of his team pulled the trunks lower - why?

because slooking at slow mo video - when Dubois's blow landed Usyks waistband was covering his navel - as he bent his body as the blow landed his shorts slid up his torso.

Course, the referee doesn't have the advantage of any of that. These decisions always go in favour of the A side if there's any doubt. Which is to be expected.

This just shows that his lack of education is the reason for his protest. It is not about the balls. A low blow is defined very clearly in the rules as well as the referees instruction. If he thought it was about the ********, he could also be saying that the punch was a long wave from that. The exact same thought process applies.

I could literally see Usyk's belly button at times in the fight, not just after the fight ended. That punch was not "**** on the navel" so I don't know why you're asking that. People are blind apparently. My stump is 7 inches away from my belly button and everyone is acting like only a punch to the balls is illegal when that's simply not the case. You can have your navel covered by 2 inches of trunks and still have another 5-6 inches to your balls lol.

But a low blow doesn’t mean just the nuts or dvck. Anything below the belly button is considered low. Literally no part of his glove even grazed the skin and Usyks trunks werent even high.

If he truly felt that he didn’t hit Usyk low, he had a full 5 minutes to think about attacking Usyks body for the remainder of the fight. Instead he never landed a good shot there again and quit after being dropped by a damn jab ffs

People refuse to accept this reality because they are either biased, dumb, both, or just used to fighters wearing their trunks too high and refs allowing belt-line work.

Agree. But from the slo mo vid - when the blow landed the navel wasn't visible - his shorts rose up his trunk at that moment.

But over and above that point - I have seen hundreds if not thousands of belt shots over the years. If from now on we are going to say a belt shot is illegal AND ACT ON IT then boxing will see a major change moving forward,

He is a way better referee than Pabon (who's on the other side of a quality and honest referee). And that clearly indicates Usyk lost, because he was down in pain and no air, so not even a 10 count could've saved him.

DDD did hit low. Ddd hit top of protector. USyk is vulnerable to body, no need to aim low. Usy k isn't tall, so no need for punches to be aimed so low. I can imagine haye hitting valuev in balls as valuev 7ft tall
