People are forgetting something very simple too. If it was ruled legal and a legit knockdown I'm sure Uysk would have got up. DD is a crybaby

At least it seems to me; That these Eastern European fighters are soft and don't like it to the body that much. It was the main reason why Sergei Kovalev quit against Andre Ward.
He did the exact same thing that Oleksandr Usyk did when Ward was touching that body. He kept constantly turning to the referee to complain because he was ready to quit from those body shotsComment

I'm amazed at how many people are calling that low blow legal. That shot was right on the bladder. The only reason it looks borderline is because Usyk didn't have his trunks high. DDD himself had his trunks higher, while Usyk's navel was sometimes visible when he moved. The very top of Usyk's belt was right on his navel, meaning any shot on the trunks belt was low. The shot itself was between the bottom part of the trunks belt and below. Definitely low and Luis Pabon made the right call.Comment

i dont really get it because if usyk was being counted out he might have got up quicker, noone knows if that was a fight ending shot... what we do know is that dubois quit and lost every other round, sick of the whole UK culture of celebrating the loser, he landed one decent shot and got whooped all fight
you feeling sick
Dubois losing every round
Dubois quitting
is all irrelevant
The only thing that counts in boxing if a fight doesn't go 12 rounds is what happened - was the blow legal or not? Did the ref make the right call?Comment
