Someone get this man not a box of tissue for his crying but a whole case of boxes.

Folks need to latch on to their excuses, despite usyk not having a high waist line on his shorts. So if his shorts are below the navel and you land on it guess what “it’s a low blow” end of. You can really tell who legitimately watches boxing and who doesn’t by some of the dumb arguments in here.

Bricktop ain't gonna like this from Carl Froch who quite correctly defines what a low blow is and the fact that yes, it WAS a low blow that put Usyk down.
I'll take Froch's opinion over anyone in here.

WBA rules state there should have been. And Dubois quit anyway.

Not sure why you're sticking up for it. It was wrong then and is now.

Nobody is sticking up for anything. You don’t have your facts straight. There wasn’t a 3 knockdown rule in effect for that fight or the ref would’ve stopped it. It’s always announced before every fight. The 3 knockdown rule is or is NOT in effect. Most title fights today don’t have an 3 knockdown rule nowadays. And you hear “only the ref can stop the fight”. I’m sure you’ve heard that before. I remember back in the day when Benn vs Barkley had a 3 knockdown rule. That was announced before the fight. The guy who Dubois fought…his people would’ve been screaming that he went down 3 times in round 1. That’s some **** that a ref cant cover up or forget.

Attacking the body is how you wear down a high energy fighter. Watch the replays from the CW tournament Usyk won to unify the titles. They tried. He is slick defensively and protects himself. Chisora went after his body relentlessly and lost almost every round even as he effectively stopped Usyk from a ton of the things he prefers to do because Usyk adjusted and connected with solid counters.

The secret to beating Usyk is not a secret at HW- Hit him flush. He is not going to be able to withstand any HW hitting him flush repeatedly. He is not a natural 240-250 pound warrior. Even the biggest Usyk fan like me know that. Dubois got him. it was not a dirty shot, even if it is not legal. Usyk recovers well, defends well, and punches in bunches. But he has very little room for error at this level. The good I see out of this is Usyk and his team have been reminded of this and will work even harder going forward.
However, he has never been hurt before to the body at the Heavyweight division as Daniel Dubois did.

The WBA DO have a 3 knockdown rule, but the BBBoC does not. The only reason it wasn't in effect was because it was in the UK. Otherwise it would have been.

You're also ignoring the fact Dubois went down voluntarily and quit.

                The fight should've been stopped.

                Those are facts.

Frank probably knows nothing will happen.

But i guess he has to say these things while Dubois is sat next to him. What's he supposed to say? "hard luck Daniel, you arguably got screwed out of a world title there and then quit 4 rounds later anyway, that's boxing"

Of course he's gonna say he's gonna lobby, because it highlights the fact it probably was unfair but it also takes the attention off the fact his own fighter quit.

he knows nothing will come of it though.

So how did Warren cheat Lefena lmao? There was no 3 knockdown rule for that fight. I know the rules. Nobody cares about Dubois quitting. He tried and he lost. He has his own reasons, you don’t. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that Usyk was put down and out by what I thought was a legal shot…and saved by a ref who had a bad night.

Please send me a link, genuinely. I tried to watch the replay and it was a still-shot.
