What, Tim is a young guy with nothing to lose and has plenty of money backing him, and they know how to match make, the good news is he will work his way into a real fight this one is a give me, nobody is ducking Tim lol, maybe ducking fighting in Australia but not Tim.

The problem I have with Charlo he played on his injury for months and conveniently when Canelo offered him the fight his hand was not an issue, I smell a rat. It wouldn't of been 'in Australia as Tim travels to the States and Charlo would of called the shots on the venue.

It's precisely because he has the WBC interim belt that he isn't ranked by the WBO, IBF, or WBA. The big 4 don't rank each other's world titlists and that includes interim titlists.

Yeah I knew thats why I thought it was random he got the shot at the WBO title when he wasn't even ranked by them because he had that interim WBC title. It's a decent fight so no complaints but just abit strange for the guys who are ranked with the WBO you'd think they'd get offered first

Really good fight. No argument over the winner being a true champ since the Undisputed champ will not have fought at 154 in over a year. Good on the WBO.

WBO and IBF rank titlists from other organizations above their own contenders for the purposes of unification bouts, if memory serves. And I also think at least one DOES rank regardless of activity in other organizations.
