Having a good chin/rolling shots can only get you so far if you're insufficient in other areas. You could see how many times John Ryder had success with the inside uppercut, unfortunately for him his shots didn't possess enough snap to effect Canelo but it shows he's there to be hit. Perhaps Charlo is the guy to finally get the dominoes falling.
Charlo, who has never fought at 168, who has less than 50% KO ratio, and went life and death with Castano both times (although he did KO him in the 2nd fight) is going to be "the guy" who finally gets Canelo?
The same Canelo, who has been fighting at 168 for 2 years, actually has KO power at that weight, and has a strong chin!
He's fought GGG 3 times (who had like a 95% KO rate), and two 175lbs'ers—None of them rocked him or hurt him but yea, Charlo is gonna do it.
You are funny!

Canelo has 4 years left in the sport TOPS! Meaning that he should be hanging em up at 36-37 yo aprox, enough time to keep adding World Class names to his already HOF resume, and some fools still doubtful and negligent to the Benavidez clash. That fight is coming sooner thab most people think.

Canelo was definitely hurt in the rematch with GGG but he's one of those guys who comes forward when he's hurt. Golovkin landed that huge right hand in round 10 but specifically in round 11 GGG landed two separate left hooks in the space of about 10 seconds which had an effect on Canelo's legs. I suggest you go back and watch that.
As for Charlo, some fighters are capable of reaching a higher level as the competition they're facing increasing. After all Charlo is quite a big guy and he'll be bringing power and speed with him up to 168lbs. His main problem will be landing the right hand flush as Canelo is quite slippery but if he does its not a given that Canelo will just shake it off because of his chin being "strong". Charlo can wack, even his short shots pack a huge amount force. If he lands flush on Canelo's temple there's every chance he goes to sleep. Apart from GGG and old Kovalev Charlo is the hardest puncher that Canelo has faced.

That year when he fought Callum, Billy Joe, and Plant was his best. Unifying the 168 division.
Now is Gervonta's time, who is always fighting the best in his Divison. Champion after Champion. Being sarcastic.
