Hes declining and his frame is undersized for 168. Now he found ways to get around that and sits on his punches more ect but what happens when his reflexes decline even more and he depends on his reflexes?
We saw it wasnt just a bivol issue, he looked bad with GGG and Ryder too.

Even if he did possess the "KO power" that you speak of its pointless as these days he telegraphs the hell out of his big, single shots. Any fighter with decent footwork would be able to circle away from them the moment he starts closing the distance...
Canelo was definitely hurt in the rematch with GGG but he's one of those guys who comes forward when he's hurt. Golovkin landed that huge right hand in round 10 but specifically in round 11 GGG landed two separate left hooks in the space of about 10 seconds which had an effect on Canelo's legs. I suggest you go back and watch that.
As for Charlo, some fighters are capable of reaching a higher level as the competition they're facing increasing. After all Charlo is quite a big guy and he'll be bringing power and speed with him up to 168lbs. His main problem will be landing the right hand flush as Canelo is quite slippery but if he does its not a given that Canelo will just shake it off because of his chin being "strong". Charlo can wack, even his short shots pack a huge amount force. If he lands flush on Canelo's temple there's every chance he goes to sleep. Apart from GGG and old Kovalev Charlo is the hardest puncher that Canelo has faced.
Canelo did knock down Ryder twice and broke his nose. He wasn't able to stop him but again, like GGG, Ryder is a durable fighter who had only been stopped once a long time ago. Daniels, Parker, and Callum weren't able to drop him.
I do recall that 10th round of the second GGG fight. He was defintely fazed but I don't believe he was ever in trouble or truly hurt. His legs were still strong.
Charlo was almost put down by Castano multiple times over their 2 fights. I recall a round in their first fight where it looked like the only thing that kept Charlo up were the ropes. Some referees would of called that a KD. Charlo tends to trade punches when backed against the ropes, thos are the exchanges where Castano was able to land his most solid punches. This will be Canelo's opportunity to exchange with him as well. Who do you think hits harder...Canelo or Castano?
Also, what makes you so sure that Charlo will be "bringing power and speed with him to 168"??
He's been training and fighting at 154 for almost his entire career, certainly the last 10 years.
Andrade, a slick and fast boxer, who earlier this year moved from 160 to 168 looked terrible and slow in his first 168 fight.
He only moved up 1 weight class. He got the job done and got the win but it was defintely and adjustment.
Charlo is going up 2 weight classes. Plus is coming off an injury/surgery, and a long lay off.
