The Saudis would like to put a site fee for this because they want to promote tourism in their country, not because they think they can recover the money from this fight financially. What that means is that they expect the two guys to be at their peak and have a mass following so that British and Americans... stars and common folk alike... go to Saudi to watch the fight and use the opportunity for sightseeing as well and go back to relate their stories for further boost.

If Wilder hasn't had a fight in months and Joshua is getting booed in his backyard, some heads would be doubting if it makes sense to spend the money on AJ vs Wilder right now and/or what other things need to be sorted out to get the maximum return from this...like promoting, TV rights, coinciding with some even in Saudi, etc. Remember, this was supposed to happen last year, and we still haven't sorted things out yet.

Hearn’s deadlines are not ‘deadlines’ it’s just that he can’t stop talking garbage…

          The minds of boxing fans
& your mind!!!?? Running from Ruiz? You obviously don't even follow boxing & just hate Wilder because? Tell me if you see a pattern....

Wbc mandated Wilder Ruiz, Ruiz priced himself out.
Ibf mandated Hrgovic Ruiz, Ruiz priced himself out saying nobody know's Hrgovic.
Fury makes Ruiz a title offer & Ruiz demands 20 mill pricing himself out.
Wilder makes Ruiz another offer & Ruiz prices himself out.
Ruiz offers himself for Aj & you guessed it priced himself out.
Ruiz does 40k ppvs to Wilders 100k when they're fighting cans, he's nobody.

Ruiz is a Buster, ive been saying it since Aj 2, just an entitled to fat fcuk who won the lottery. Prove me wrong!!! He's never once made an offer & is only interested in ig clicks with a fat/skinny filter on.

Bob rolls eyes at hhh & drops the mic

            This, finger pointing up emoji.

Just to add, the 2 3rds full arena was booing & apparently the Saudis were in town.
They must be having 2nd thought's.
They should offer Usyk & Fury real bank & forget those 2 undesputed 2018 & 19 duck clowns.

In 2 or 3 weeks he will say next week, next week, next week.

What happened to this fight already being done for December before the Whyte fight was even signed?

You know, the literal reason he used to turn down the fight with Fury in September?

While I'd like to see this fight (hoping to see AJ knocked badly) I think it won't happen. Similarly I think Fury will retire after the ridiculous Ngannou event. So AJ will fight 2-3 more bums and have another chance at Usyk before retiring.

It will happen. I mean what else can Wilder do? Lose to Ruiz for much less money?

That bum knows he beats nobody and that he has like zero chance against Joshua. he is just coming for a pay day.
