Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. WEIGHT class, let that sink in. Again WEIGHT class. It is what you weigh that determines your WEIGHT class. They’re not called height classes.

We gotta talk about is he even bigger than Spence?

They seem at the same size in photos with Charlos. Spence hardly making 147 just like Canelo at his 19-20. Also, Spence fought at 154 in 2015 at Heerdeen fight. I think both are natural 154.

In terms of natural size: Canelo >= Spence > Crawford.

Canelo is the most incredible phenom since Robinson era.

Roger Mayweather is probably rolling on his grave from all of these comments from ignorant non boxing fans that think they know boxing. Canelo’s arm length is the smallest of any 160 to 175 fighter, Legs are shorter than most of them too. When he talks about him always being the shortest guy, is because he is. Canelo is not even a 5’8” he is more like 5’7”. Charlo who stands at almost 6 feet said he walks at a weight of 168 to 170. Canelo walks at 180 so tell me knowledgeable people, who has to make the biggest sacrifices in the weight drain? Who has the reach advantage and the height advantage? Some ignorant said here that Canelo is cherry picking? Did Leonard cherry pick Duran on their first match? Did Oscar cherry picked when Mosley went up 2 weight divisions to beat him? Mind all of you Duran or Mosley weren’t undisputed in his division like Charlo is!

Right, so Canelo, with those dimensions, should naturally be fighting at 147/154 because he matches up with fighters from those divisions with height and reach. No one is arguing that he's shorter but like others have said, they're called WEIGHT CLASSES. I suppose guys like Viktor Postol and Elvis Rodriguez should be fighting at least at MW because of their height and reach and not 140.

You haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about.
You keep reaching trying to find every example possible. You're pathetic in that all you can do is find limited and rare exceptions which I've already said exist.

The common sense fact is taller fighters are in the higher weight classes. And the fact that again the fighter who is doing the fighting has already said the other fighter is bigger, you're too ****** to comprehend it.

Even though Canelo has fought at higher weights Charlo is bigger! Every fighter Canelo fought at 168 has been bigger because it's not his natural weight class. And Charlo moving up is no different. He's bigger. 160 or 168 would be a more natural weight class for Charlo because of his height. His brother is the same size and he's been at 160 and was about to go to 168.

If you are a taller fighter, you will most likely be in a higher weight class. Some fighters shrink down in lower weight classes. Doesn't matter. A average super middleweight is 6' and up. It doesn't matter how many ****** people don't understand this lol. That's why all the heavyweights are well over 6 ft. There are limited exceptions. LeBron James and Kevin Durant would both be in the heavyweight division lol.

To add on to your point here, there's more to weight classes than just height and reach. Size of frame matters. Density of bone and muscle matters. Look at Sebastian Fundora. He's 6'5.5". By the height and reach metric only, you'd think he should fight in the heavyweight division, but he'd get killed there.

I do think people are being a little absurd calling Charlo the smaller man though.

You asked me for an example you dumb f***.

Taller not bigger. Google the definition of bigger. No mention of height. You clearly don’t understand how to measure size or you’re just some weird ass Canelo fanboy trying to create a BS narrative.

I've stated there are few exceptions ****head. When you watch boxing how many respectable boxing figures have ever called Canelo the bigger man?

I'm not talking the actual definition. You must be slow dude. I said in boxing! The taller fighter in much more than half of the scenarios is the bigger fighter in boxing. And the taller fighters fight at bigger weight divisions so what does that tell you **** for brains?

In boxing your height determines the division you settie in and taller is bigger.
