Different things. Charlos are not acclimatized to fight at 168 , so from the start its a big difference in stamina, power and strength in Canelo's favor. Also Charlos were inactive for more than a year in their own weight classes.

These fights are just business fights/cash in fights that looks good on paper for the casuals.

Silly arguments here. Alvarez has been fighting at 160 and above for near a decade. Charlo is coming up 2 divisions from his normal fighting weight. It is dumb to even have this conversation just because Alvarez is trying to cast himself, somehow, as the under dog. We all know he is not, and we all know Charlo is at a disadvantage. From the look of him, I do not think it is that big (pun intended) of a disadvantage, but it is a simple fact that Charlo is training for a division that Alvarez simply owns.

You're bringing up rare exceptions. This is not a debate. Height determines your weight class. Canelo is ****ing 5'8. He's not a natural super middleweight. If you're not at least 6 ft tall you shouldn't really be a super middleweight.

Holy **** does it get annoying to constantly read people write "well Canelo started at 140, so there's no way he's a natural MW or SMW." Can you imagine how many divisions guys would naturally go through if they all turned pro at 15 years old? Look at how filled out he was in fights like Khan and Liam Smith. He's been at least a natural MW for years at this point. He hasn't even really bulked up, he just isn't cutting as much weight because, ahem...he can't anymore, at least not naturally; which is probably how he made 154 for the last time because VADA just so happened to be "cancelled." It's amazing how height becomes the most important thing to some guys when it comes to Canelo.

Usyk fought at middleweight as a teenager. Nobody brings up the fact that he started at 165 and now fights at 220.
