Yeah, the injury should be the source of some fans' curiosity. It suddenly disappeared when the Canelo fight was presented.

Both Charlos should have been stripped a long time ago.

The way I see it is Charlo enters the ring undisputed regardless if a trinket is pulled because he beat everyone; he is the kingpin at 154. If he defeats Canelo, he becomes undisputed in two weight classes at the same time. In the eyes of the boxing world pulling a trinket from him won't change his status. Someone else will have to win the WBO title or be given it to them for anything to be up for dispute. But if he defeats Canelo, he is absolutely top 6 PFP.

This is yet another reason why none of the belts matter.
            none of them

Charlo was that kid on the playground who got the ball and then wouldn't throw it, run with it, bounce it, or nothin'. He just holds the ball and stands there looking around. So they come and take the ball away from him, and his feelings are hurt.

The difference is Tszyu is reading and willing to fight Charlo but Charlo is not down. He's chasing money which is cool, but don't hold the belts hostage. And don't make this about Tszyu, its about Charlo's inactive, injury faking, non title defending ass. What ur doing by trying to point to Tszyu is de****able. Its like getting caught for a crime, and while ur getting handcuffed, u say its not just me, he's hiding behind that car over there. Arrest him too! Ur a rat

Charlo is not a PPV-selling guy. He's popular and has a big promoter, but his purse in the Castano rematch was one million dollars.

$1,000,000 *.03 = $30k. When dude is fighting once a year.... that's not very much money. Not enough to get you out of all your obligations. By comparison, when Canelo fights, he cuts them a check for over half a million bucks.

Tzyu is becoming a big draw in Australia. Has a famous name. TV networks in America like him. If he gets a title and fights two or three bums in a year, that's more money in the WBO's pocket than Charlo's putting in.

So both guys have their teams go to the WBO and advocate for this and that, and they want to keep both guys happen, but because Charlo isn't bringing them a lot of money, the rules say he should be stripped, AND the guy that's going to take his belt will bring them similar or better money, they're going to go ahead and strip him.
Wow, you walked that question down. I hate to seem cynical but I'm always looking for the financial angle and your break down makes perfect sense....Thanks.

I honestly feel like they’re not only doing Charlo wrong, but Crawford wrong too. They know that Crawford is eying a 154 pound Undisputed clash with Charlo. They’re screwing over Bud smh.
