doesnt matter who Canelo fights, the haters will get out their Kleenex and cry about it.

He's already catching flack for fighting the undisputed 154 champ, with people saying he's picking on a smaller fighter. Can't see how bringing up someone EVEN SMALLER than Charlo would be any different.....

Isn’t canelo the same guy who 2 months ago asked Jack to drop 20 pounds and accept a rehydration clause so that he could challenge for Jacks title? But Canelo dropping 10 pounds is a ridiculous request? Ok got it. Fkn hypocrite.

I still say that there should be a 10-man exhibition tournament every year in December for the P4P Top 10. Four rounds per fight

        We'd have matchups like:

        Inoue vs Crawford
        Beterbiev vs Tank
        Fury vs Canelo

Willie Pep and Sugar Ray Robinson did an exhibition where they, essentially, played with each other in the ring.

It would just be dope to see these boxers in the ring together, kind of like the NBA All-Star game or NFL Pro Bowl. Will never happen, but would be sick af.

It's a ****** idea. Floyd's catchweight of 152 was equally ****** but Canelo felt like he needed that high profile fight to launch his career to the next level. He has no need of this ****** fight.

That he has imposed or tried to impose equally ****** weight clauses on others, doesn't really change anything.

CLENelo was throwing around the idea of being willing to fighting Errol Spence, at a catch weight of some sort. This was a PBC idea that was being floated around in the media. Errol and Canelo both seemed to express interest in it in interviews. Now, this is the same Errol who was just touched up by Bud.. But yet, CLENelo says Bud is too small? Why when it comes to Bud, the goal post is always moved to avoid him? Nowadays, dudes hide behind whatever reason they can come up with, or they claim injury, or call him out when they have another fight coming up, or they only fight him on social media, etc. It's always something. If this was way back in the days, I believe a whole lot of mofos would simply draw the color line to avoid fighting Bud. Just my humble opinion...

                Lol reaching much?

Canelo-Hatton took place at 150lbs, 3lbs heavier than Hatton had been fighting at.

Cotto wanted 155lbs, Canelo wanted 156lbs. Fight took place at Cotto’s request of 155lbs.

                Khan is an idiot.

Lara fought Canelo at 155lbs…1lb heavier than his normal weight. I highly doubt Lara had any issues at all about that.

Canelo-Lopez took place 154lbs because that’s where Canelo was campaigning and that’s where Canelo-Ortiz was going to take place.

Lastly, Crawford fights at 147lbs, Canelo fights at 168lbs. That’s a much bigger disparity than Canelo and those fighters you mentioned.

Some of you guys don’t know about boxing. Canelo fought at 154 how long ago? Spence is naturally more bigger than Bud, this is why Canelo vs Spence was being contemplated. The fact that Errol can’t make 147 showed with Crawford. There is a lot of things casual fight don’t understand, one is that a few pounds more or less can win the fight.

It could be 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. Crawford is 35, so he doesn't have many more fights in him and has few truly high-profile fights under his belt. Canelo is a great retirement plan for him. Alvarez on the other hand, is getting a little long in the tooth himself. Bud may be troublesome for him, but he hasn't fought above WW yet. Therefore, he may in fact be too small for Cinnamon, who is trying to set records. Neither beating up Bud nor getting beaten up by him does much for the Mexican's legacy.

The reporter who asked Canelo the question was so ****** and was acting as an instigator. At no point in time did Crawford call out Canelo to a catch weight of 158 nor any weight. He simply said that he’d be open to the fight IF Canelo would agree to a catch weight of possibly 160. The reporter was instigating. He said, “What do you think of Crawford wanting to fight you at 158?” He made it sound like Crawford was actively calling out Canelo. That reporter needs to be called out for his ******ity. I’m glad Canelo didn’t take the bait.
