If you are a fan of boxing you wouldn't use that dumb analogy then, Canelo was fighting around those weights so a few pounds isn't a big deal compared to 10 lbs especially when he has been fighting at 168+ for years at this point.

Everyone want to crack Alvarez chin but not his body, then they go to his body the fighter too far back in Alvarez best fighting range that's mid range. Counter over and over again and not let them they hands go.
Well, hell, I didn't realize that it was so simple. Can Bud also do this to Fury?

Canelo can't go to 160, much less 158! Let's ask Crawford would he fight Tank @ 145? What would he say? Exactly!

He learned it from the Best Ever Mayweather, when he brought Canelo down to 152.

Canelo is washed up and would lose to Bud. If Bud had a clue how to promote himself, he’d be pretty Rick. Unfortunately, Bud has the personality of a worm and no matter how good he is, outside the ring, he’s not marketable.

Cute that you think Bud is some superior specimen/boxer but he isn't, if he can be hit EASILY on numerous occasions by the likes of Kavaliauskas or Avanesyan and a faded Brook to name a few, you truly believe Canelo won't be able to put hands and feet on him or do you think he's going to become some kind of defensive wizard overnight!?
