  • Comments Thread For: Canelo Rejects The Scenario of Facing Crawford in Catchweight Fight

But you would catchweight Matthew Hatton, Khan, Cotto, Lara and Lopez though.

I believe someone said 158 or something of that nature. Crawford stops him. Anything above, Canelo is heavy favorite. Better Crawford find a way to fight for a 3rd undisputed after Charlo vacates the belts.

Crawford isn't stopping Canelo even if Canelo boils down to featherweight. Canelo is not Spence and Spence wasn't even Spence two weeks ago.

Lol. Canelo 155 lb weight class.

Canelo struggling to stay relevant at this point.

He should just get it over with and face Benevitez so he could get knocked out and retire.

I'm glad he's acknowledging that though and probably heard Crawford's interview on the radio shows lately. It was brought up on both and Crawford said he wouldn't face Canelo higher than 154lbs. Canelo was just recently fighting light heavyweights. There is no way he would face a guy that big and for Canelo, having faced light heavyweight, there is probably no way he'd feel a punch from Crawford at 154lbs.

I can only hope somehow Crawford gets the Charlo fight and can become undisputed at 154lbs. Then goes out into the sunset.

What a ****** comment, Canelo was fighting right around those catch weights give or take 5 pounds or so. Now he has to boil down 10 pounds if not he's scared right? Rookie!...

Bloodthirsty fans want little guys against big guys to see a massacre. How about just fight at your weight or within 7 lbs? Tank can't beat Crawford & Crawford can't beat Canelo at normal weights.
