For all the hype, he's fought nobody and I haven't heard of him in serious talks with anyone of name.

It's just "Boots is a phenom! Hell take out Bud, Spence, Canelo, he's so unstoppable!!!!"

But he hasn't fought anybody. He looked good against journeymen lol.

He's all hype and all he's proven is that he can knock out journeymen and look good doing it.

I have a feeling we get Boots-Stanionis then the haters can go hate on that too.

Nothing to discuss?! Sure, he wants no part of the WBO, but what about the IBF?
He's still the top guy in the IBF rankings. There's still plenty to discuss. He can still go for it.

Any stay-busy fight for Jaron Boots Ennis?

....Or you'd rather want him wait around for long periods of time?

How about Blair Cobbs for a stay-busy fight? What do you think?

He's waiting for a fight accompanied with a retirement cheque.
Most of them are doing the same thing. Look at Wilder. Can't even take a stay-busy fight
for fear he might lose the Joshua fight.

Are you guys okay with seeing Jaron Boots Ennis continue sitting it out for the rest of the year? Or prefer to see him take some cab driver for a stay-busy ride before the year ends, you know, to remind casuals he's still in the game, show off his boxing prowess, give them a taste of what is to come -- more showcase fights.

Boots Ennis is the REAL deal and the heir to the Welterweight division once Crawford moves up in weight. In fact, I think he would give Crawford a far tougher fight than Spence did but would LOSE due to lack of experience.

Boots is on record saying he wants Crawford or Stanionis next.
You gotta beat the final boss at the IBF headquarters.

For a heavily hyped boxer like him, he should be fighting 3 - 4 times a year... But that's just me.

His team got a plan for him, obviously. Fight once or twice a year, and the majority of the plan is wait around till something big comes up. Something big may mean a title shot or a money fight, maybe both. It's a simple plan. It may take years but it's a plan, at least.

It's a remarkably patient team and they're willing to wait. Let's not start another thread about him till he decides to be more active.
