It does look lazy. Like he’s trying to conserve energy…and then he ends up winded anyway!

I don’t know if they need to get Chepo Reynoso more involved again or what the problem is.

canelo is on his way out.. he cant fight like before because he doesnt have the stamina so now he loads up and try to get his opponent out early... if he fights like before, then he'll be giving up the early rounds and he doesnt have the stamina now to turn it on in the 2nd half of the fight.

And missing with those big shots is also causing them to get winded (not that Canelo’s stamina was ever that stellar anyway), along with all the weightlifting they seem to like to do in that camp which doesn’t help I think.

Eddy Reynoso seems to be regressing as a trainer instead of getting better.
          - - Yeah, Canelo gonna take advice from JellyRoll……

That's a very salient point you are making here. In addition, I don't see Canelo stopping Jermell Charlo either. That fight has distance written all over it because they are both counter punchers. Neither guy likes to take the lead.

I don't know what's the issue, but from the outside looking in, I think they need to bring back the focus on head and waist movement.

When you’re younger it’s easier to criticize others, not expecting anyone to understand this, but when a boxer is older it’s harder to dance around throwing combinations ( wasted energy). We just don’t have that energy anymore. What older men aren’t missing is POWER so we tend to give everything into our punches when an opportunity arises. We also loose our good “trigger” so we are always ”waiting” for that perfect shot that doesn’t always come. We also can’t get out of the way of a punch. We loose some of our defensive reflexes and some of us don’t care if we get hit as long as we can get our shot off. All this is a sign we need to RETIRE.

Reynoso only got praised because of Canelo
I think he’s horrible trainer and it starting to show
He has no plan B for Canelo when fights are not going his way and it shows

You're just seeing it now? Canelo been doing that his entire career. Zero tempo on hard punches even when he was throwing combo's. There isn't About 696,000 results (0.40 seconds) on google for Canelo cherry picking for no reason.
