Well, Canelo and Oscar Valdez are anyway. As of late I notice a tendency from both of them to just want to set up and land that one big shot. Combinations and fluidity have fallen by the wayside.

And missing with those big shots is also causing them to get winded (not that Canelo’s stamina was ever that stellar anyway), along with all the weightlifting they seem to like to do in that camp which doesn’t help I think.

Eddy Reynoso seems to be regressing as a trainer instead of getting better.

LOL that's he did vs Bivol. Honestly he really doesn't change up the spend on his punches like Crawford and Inoue.

Yeah I noticed that also. He's acting like Wilder wanting to just land that one good punch.

Also what boxing podcasts u listen to? I can't find max boxing? I listen to montero boxing but looking for others.

Valdez was really telegraphing those hooks last night too. You could literally see him winding them up.

I really don’t listen to any boxing podcasts regularly, man. I might pull up a Teddy Atlas clip on YouTube if he’s talking about something I’m interested in, and same for other random interview clips.

Used to listen to Randy Gordon and Gerry Cooney on Sirius when I had a longer work commute but I don’t anymore.

Usyk too. Usyk changes the speed and power of the shots. really ***s with people cause some of the shots get through but theyre really weak and the opponent gets complacent then lets through a more powerful shot.

Canelo had 4 fights in one year (up to Caleb Plant) and did VADA testing for all those training camps. And he won all 4 fights by knockout or stoppage. So I don’t think it’s that.

Anybody can fight 4 times a year if they have a morons willing to overpay for mediocre opponents. Nothing to brag about
