This is not the first time for Ruiz. The dude wants 20 million per fight because he is an ex champ. The guy showed up in disgraceful shape in the Joshua rematch. You want to be respected and demand big money then respect the game by training hard and losing weight!

Wilder ain’t boxing anyone with a pulse until he gets AJ. That’s his strategy.

We know what happened with Ruiz negotiations and I get that. But why did those negotiations take place only in the last two months?

Wilder fought in Oct. so these negotiations should have been held in Nov/Dec. and Wilder should have fought someone in Mar/Apr and again in Aug/Sept even if it was someone other than Ruiz. Fight Charles Martin or Ajagba in late Sept./early Oct. and then Joshua in mid-Jan.

50/50 is not outpricing. Wilder has always been a sucker.

don't matter. A.j. ain't gonna take them punches well even if wilder is 51 yrs old. it ain't like his skills will erode lol. he ain't got much to begin with. and when aj hits him it'll be fun to see how he takes them. we don't know. we know he will atleast try pull himself off mat. just my opinion. don't have to be anyone else's

They all have the same story, these Part-time Boxing Clowns (PBC). They're all scared to death of taking even stay-busy fights for fear of getting derailed. Joshua took 2 interim fights, while Wilder took zero. All the while the Malik clown was saying Ruiz would be an easy fight. Disgusting people.

Ruiz is in the middle of a divorce. I doubt there is ANY fight he would take right now even at a high purse, because it would establish child support and alimony numbers at levels that would not be sustainable for him. So I suspect he is just asking for ****** numbers because he doesnt want a good payday anyways. Probably makes more sense for him to either not fight anyone, or fight a low level opponent for lowball money until his divorce is done.......

If Andy hadn't gone life or death with the ghost of Chris Arreola - who Wilder dealt with a fresher version of easily - it probably wouldn't have been so bad.
