If up to me I wouldn’t even put him in with Wilder yet. He’s gotta face someone of note and actually put his hands together. There were so many openings tonight and he didn’t take them, that KO could have happened earlier. That being said, getting the KO will do his confidence so much good.

Wilder would need to land his perfect punch - the fully torqued shoulder whipping fully extended right - or catch AJ on the temple and go full Windmill to clean out Joshua

If AJ lands on Wilder and accumulates punches or doesn't get careless he either takes Wilder out or wins on the cards.

There's no universe in which Wilder outboxes AJ for a decision.

I'm still not convinced by the new Joshua though. Taking your time is fine, but he still doesn't look instinctive to me. The same opportunities were there and he backed off them. Almost like he needs to see it loads of times before he'll convince himself he can go for it.

Better fighters won't give him that many looks to pass up.
Well maybe in Wilder's fight he will make quicker decisions and counter with power shots coz in Wilder's fight AJ can't afford to waste opportunities coz as we know once wilder start throwing his windmills he loses balance as well and AJ has to make Wilder pay for that and he has to be efficient and set traps to execute promptly so that fight both fighters will be dangerous!

Regarding this Helenius fight I believe AJ don't want to make a rush move like he did against Ruiz 1 and get countered so he watched carefully and then unleash the power punch.

I'm impressed with this fight! Now AJ should prepare for wilder. That fight is going to be a ****er!

I'm not sure he was getting up from that.

I'll say one thing for big Bob - he falls really well. Very satisfying when tall timber drops like that.

That was the first time he really stepped in and threw the right. Everything else was pushed out from range.

The question is whether he'll step in against more dangerous fighters.

AJ could rematch Parker if he really wanted a challenge but he'd probably lose so that ain't happening.

Wilder could call Parker out too for the same reason and probably same result.

We might see different things in same fight but for Me it was AJ's show. AJ was carrying Helenius until he eventually ended the fight with a big punch. Yes, AJ outclassed Helenius for 6 of the 7 rounds in my eyes.

Congratulation to AJ on his decisive victory. It was expected and well-deserved. However, from my observations; I'm noticing that Anthony Joshua is no longer putting his combination punches together

He has not been the same fighter since that first Andy Ruiz fight. Now it appears, he tends to be a bit too gunshy by letting his hands go. It's almost like he is afraid of getting countered and hit.
