Anyone give Helenius any chance tomorrow?

It all depends on AJ, not Helenius, who will do what he can. Namely, jab and move, and throw the occasional hard punch, hoping to catch AJ's soft spot.
AJ looks mentally shattered to me. If the condition is still ongoing, even Gerald Washington would have a chance to knock him out.
But the more realistic view for me is Joshua hitting and hugging Helenius as he did with Franklin, turning the fight into a borefest and - perhaps - knocking him out late due to Robert's fatigue, or even winning on points again. At this point, the only thing that really matters for Joshua is the W, whichever the method.Comment

It would be hilarious if Helenius knocked him out. I know Joshua -Wilder would be ruined in that case, but I don`t care much, to be honest.
Hrgovic - McKean is more interesting fight.Comment

lol Joshua vs Wilder is so 2019 does anybody still care?
Easiest 150m+ superfight bungled by boxing ******ity and politics.Comment

No. He is older ( 39 ) , and brought in specifically for Joshua. The odds makers give him no chance. Something may be up. He is taking a pay day for Joshua to lie down.I actually made a similar thread when he fought Wilder, questioning whether Wilder was now a vulnerable fighter physically/mentally after back to back losses, the same essentially applies to AJ.
I can’t really see it being competitive though tbh. I think he’s too stiff and doesn’t really have the motivation at this stage of his career.
I think Joshua stops him in the mid rounds.Comment

Not impossible but I pick Josh to win. I'm sure enormous hits hard enough to stop Josh just like ngannou can hit hard enough to best fury. But I don't think soLast edited by hugh grant; 08-12-2023, 07:16 AM.Comment

I can't envision it being a close fight or competitive.
AJ inside 4 rounds maybe as early as 1 or 2.
I think its the perfect opponent too flatter AJ big time.
I hope I am wrong but see nothing but a total blowout.
Helenius sucks.Comment
