See people are relying too much on Cotto's perceived one punch power. He's not going to rock Pac with every clean punch he lands. He's not that type of fighter.

Neither pacquiao or Cotto are homerun hitters. If it came down to neutral ground in the speed department the fight would end up being decided by mental toughness.

A combo from Pac with more than 3 or 4 punches landed will hurt Cotto. Cotto is for sure the bigger guy but he can be rocked as well as Pac.

the key for cotto , is patience, he can not start as fast as he does , first round has to be all bout defense countering and examining mannys movement.He has never fought a guy with such overall movement , head and footwork, he has to try and see how he can cut off the ring against manny. and somehow let manny think im here to do a smart fight , we all know they r both going to try and knock each other out , its their nature. But cotto size and weight advantage will show if he uses his defense and patience to counter , he cannot match mannys speed and he will be chasing manny a lot. other wise manny will start landing crazy combinations eventually get cotto on the skates on survive mode and it will be downhill from there on for cotto. Is going to be much easier for manny than for cotto to execute gameplans , but cotto is a really tough and smart fighter , i wouldnt be surprised if it comes easy for him.

Against Cotto, nope. Cotto is a better all round boxer than Pacquiao. He is better skilled, that doesnt mean Pacquiao cant win though.
