It would be very rational for him not to take another 5-8 month lay-off after he was just off for 2 years....Mayweather Said he was alittle bit rusty so if he is trying to get his skills sharper SINCE HE IS ALITTLE BIT OLDER.
What better way than a stay busy fight?

like I said before Juilo Ceasar Chavez use to take stay busy fights all the time he used to fight every month fighting fighters with only 3 career pro fights when he has already fought 60+ fights...

Furthermore Thats why I said he could do the fight in the UK..Build up his base more over there and after that fight HE CAN put his fight with Pacquaio or Cotto on P.P.V in the UK RATHER THAN JUST HAVE IT ON SKY SPORTS...
if Amir Khan fights are on P.P.V in the UK.. Floyd Mayweather should make it his mission to get his fights on P.P.V in the UK....

And the best way to do that, is to start fighting in the UK.
and what better way to start fighting in the UK than with a stay busy fight?

    WTF is this bull****!!!!????

FLOYD ALREADY GOT HIS TUNE UP!!!

    STOP DUCKING MOSLEY!!!!

Listen...Mayweather is fighting for money and to solidify his HOF status. A warm-up fight would be meaningless at this point in his career. Mayweather is only going to fight guys with little to no risk who can bring him the most money.

lol, they would hate on him like crazy but he would be doing exactly the same Julio Chavez did....

but back to the main point...I agree with you that

We the british fans would probably pay to see him fight in the flesh (I know i would) but we are not really prepared to pay to see him fight in the UK on PPV..

The public know who he is and he's liked by hardcore boxing fans but there is no one British to lure the casual viewers.....sad but true.
You never know....but what better why to build up his uk following than by fighting there?. and if he was ever going to make a fight in the UK, a stay busy fight would be the perfect way to get his feet wet in the UK...Floyd would put on a show and he would build a more intimate relationship with his UK fans..

It does not need to be a MEGA MATCH.....
he could have Alot of british fighters on the undercard,,,
                Just to make it better...

I know that, You Know that, and Floyd knows that...

the only way floyd can start getting on P.P.V there is if he starts fighting there dont you agree?

And that could be his way into possibly getting his fights on P.P.V there..
