No need too
Should FLOYD MAYWEATHER take a stay busy fight in the UK in Jan or Dec?

Nah, I don't see it happening, the British are only interested in their own fighters (whatever is spoon fed to them by the media).
It would be nice if Floyd had fought in the U.K. years ago so by now the British public would give a toss who he is, but unfortunately nationalistic pride comes before watching P4P champs.
The only way Floyd would fight here is if a Brit as popular as Hatton was around right now.

But, seriously, I'd say why not. He'll stand to gain many more fans who'd support him in his next mega-fight. That's for sure.Comment

If he does it with the intention of unifying titles, yes. Yes i would like to see Floyd beating up Berto and then fight a super fight with Cotto/Pacquiao or Mosley.Comment

of course he doesnt need to..
He is the the 4th Biggest Pay Per View Attraction of all time.
but dont you think It makes perfect sense. that if he was ever going to make a fight in the UK that a stay busy fight would be the perfect way to get his feet wet in the UK...Floyd would put on a show and he would build a more intimate relationship with his UK fans..
wHy not..
like I said if the UK fans would pay to see Amir Khan...
The would pay to see Floyd Mayweather...
but he needs to fight their first...
perfect way...
is to do a stay busy fightComment

He doesn't need to. And I don't think he'd ever do a fight that wasn't going to be on PPV and I don't really feel like seeing him beat up a stay busy oppenent and shelling out 50 bucks.Comment

PLUS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO he would make sure to want to
give something to his UK....the tickets would be reasonable...
and plus he just made 30+ million for JMM a couple weeks ago..
So I am sure he wouldnt mind taking a stay busy fight for alittle bit less money..

He might sell tickets, but which British fighter would he fight with the same pulling power as Hatton?
The way to make money out of fights here is by selling the fight to the public like when Khan is hyped as the next big thing.
The public know who he is and he's liked by hardcore boxing fans but there is no one British to lure the casual viewers.....sad but true.Comment
