Should FLOYD MAYWEATHER take a stay busy fight in the UK in Jan or Dec?

honestly, I don't think so.

Because people are ready to pounce on and criticize any percieved flaw in Floyd. Media, fans, HBO announcers, you name it. Even If he does fairly good but less than stellar numbers, and even if he tries to pass it off as a "keep busy" fight, his critics will say his drawing power is fading.

Its almost like... a very popular rapper putting out an album that goes platinum..then putting out a second album that only goes gold, hoping for their third album to be their biggest success ever. Regardless of whether that artist says he was just trying to "stay in the studio" or "keep writing", judgment is passed on his career, and it could even effect how many units of the third album he moves...

Or they might just repeat their mantra of him not fighting the best WW's...

So what..HATERS are going to HATE reguardless..You can conduct your business or live your life in fear of hate...

Did people question the STAR of Juilo Ceasar Chavez when he use to take stay busy fights all the time ?

This would be a great oppurtunity to expand his popularity over seas...and for him to truely become a Universial ICON..!

Floyd is not JCC.. Floyd moves bigger numbers than JCC could and fights less often.. Plus this is a different time of boxing now, where to many, you are only as good as your last fight.

He is already quite popular in Great Britain, as I understand. I saw footage of him doing an exhibition in London for the Marquez fight. Crowds for days just to catch a glimpse of him.

How and why...if he the fans know these are stay busy fights like Ali, Chavez,SRL,Marvin Hagler,Terry Norris,Thomas Hearns, all used to have.

Go look at any great popular fighter... and it is full with stay busy fights...
