Fans really undervalue the effects of clean living. Beterbiev and Kovalev are the same age. BHop admittedly hasn’t had a soft drink or alcohol since the 1980’s
My nephew is a Spence fan and also has a training facility for up and coming athletes. He was convinced that he could get Spence right for a rematch lol. He was a football player so he has a blind spot for how training for boxing is different. Once I explained to him the nuances of the lifestyle stuff, inactivity, and the constant huge weight cuts and how that damage is irreversible, he went from getting Spence right to thinking he should retire lmao.

To this day Spences best win came from sparring Mayweather.

Yeah man, I've seen lots of guys with all the talent in the world, but no discipline not make it anywhere in the sport. You can't just train at camps.

This is funny, but, sadly, true. Spence was running his mouth after accomplishing very little in the sport relative to the **** he talked. One would think this guy ran through multiple divisions as opposed to being the big bully, who tried to sweat it out to stay in a division he outgrew a long time ago to milk the wins as long as he could. If he came to 154 a while back, I am 100% sure Jermell would have dropped his ass hard.

You are absolutely correct. If you are constantly inactive and partying everyday; Then your body will tend to get round and age.

However, Bud’s work ethic is second to none. He is a gym rat. He stays physically fit and is in the gym grinding 24/7 and 365 days of a year and it showed on Saturday night.

While Bud spends most of his time in the gym; Errol spends most of his time living fast while partying with his friends at night clubs..
