Benavidez-Andrade?

Also Morrell is next up for the mandatory rotation. If Benavidez actually wanted the Canelo fight, he has had multiple opportunities to take the route that would give him a shot at Canelo. If he could have kept his belt instead of doing ******* or missing weight, Canelo would have had to fight him to become undisputed. He could have taken Ryder's mandatory position. And now he's dropped an opportunity to take Morrell, and we know the WBC doesn't enforce its own rules.Comment

It will help him build his name with casuals. Just like how Tank Davis fought Cristobal Cruz, Hugo Ruiz, Hector Garcia, Leo Santa Cruz, Yuriorkis Gamboa, etc. You and I know the context behind those wins; we know they were past prime and/or well above their normal weights. But the casual boxing fan just sees five world titlists and concludes Tank must be great.Comment

Canelo cannot be forced to fight anyone, he has previously dropped the WBC belt when forced. Waste of time trying to force him by fighting 9-0 morrell with nothing to really gain. He won't be given respect for whopping a 9-0 fighter.Comment

In this sad era that fight has a full potential to be FOTY. I am full in. the fight between two undefeated super middleweights. What is there to not like?Comment
