You'd probably get more sympathy and understanding if you

    A) Gave up your belt
    B) Didn't show up to every boxing event loud and drunk

I’m glad you said both, because Jermell is fighting and he seem the craziest of the two!

Come fight night, he gets beat similar to Spence,
then the next day a Youtube caller says he ain't right doe, why did they let him fight?
They have zero accountability. They drink, drive while intoxicated, no accountability.
Instead, their fans make excuses for them like it's someone else's fault.

Teofimo Lopez won his last couple of fights with mental health issues. This dude is soft AF.

Ryan Garcia made himself active and accepted weight stipulations. Broner wanted to fight 3 times a year, but SHO/PBC couldn't deliver. Tyson Fury came out or retirement and won titles. He also worried about retiring because staying at home doing nothing will make things worse.

So he hasnt worked since June of 21 because of his mental health. If the average worker was lucky enough to be able to come back to work after a mental health battle, and the job involved taking punches to the head, the employer would probably get sued (for negligence?) if anything happened. Why should a fighter be allowed to fight once they show they have mental health problems. He's just getting sent in for more head trauma. How can the sanctioning body not be held responsible? Their career should be over the same as if they had a brain bleed.

To be fair, he was scheduled to fight last June (2022) but he sustained a back injury if I’m not mistaken. It’s not like he allowed the entire year to go by without attempting to fight.

If anything, he needs to be labeled champion Emeritus or champion in recess or whatever they call it nowadays. I want him to get better as well.
