How are you going to have a champion who hasn’t defended in over 2 years? Who is paying off Mauricio Sulaiman to allow this?

Why can’t they put a rule in saying you must defend against a mandatory or top 10 opponent once a year or vacate the belt?

They are. They live in this "Mayweather fake mentality" where they think the 0 is the most important thing. They fear failure because being beaten means "they're not good." So they go around avoiding all challenges trying to keep this type of persona/mentality instead of bettering themselves and truly becoming great. When they finally lose, they're devastated and mentally destroyed because the persona is no longer there. It's also on coaching at a young age to teach our up and coming fighters that the culture in America is complete dog **** and you must avoid it at all costs.

The fact that this dude said that is utterly embarrassing and I could never imagine saying that as a man.

Charlo will never be back at the rate he's going, if he seriously has mental health issues he needs to stop drinking and doing hard drugs. I saw this video the other day and I knew it was a wrap, and then to top it off it he got ***** slapped by Plant and was out on his feet for a few seconds. Dude looked lost in place he has a lot of things to work out but obviously boxing isn't in his future at the moment or ever at this point he's not getting any younger, has been inactive and has hand problems.

I don't see a person in the video with mental issues. I see one who is still behaving like a teenager; a 14 year old kid housed in a 33 year old body.
I have seen hundreds of people in my lifetime, especially when I was a teenager, which included my own circle of family, friends, etc., behaved exactly the same. Mental issues never came up.
Is this simply a celebrity bias where people instantly come up with excuses for them? It's like defending a criminal with insanity plea. They get away with anything and not an ounce of accountability is expected of them.

Exactly. Some of the most successful, intelligent people of the past 100 years have suffered from mental health issues. The only difference years ago is it was a taboo topic that people were shunned for talking about. Even if you only had minor mental health issues, your reputation would be ruined and people would brand you a crazy person.

The Charlos are surrounded by sycophants and enablers. Jermall's was led by his own trainer Ronnie Shields. No tough love was ever attempted to be applied to the guy. And he became soft. He's now going along with this "mental issue" narrative as an excuse for his abysmal behavior. Enablers just won't disappear on these Charlo's lives.

I agree 100% it's like anytime someone messes up or isn't taking accountability for their actions they blame it on mental issues. Sort of like Tyson Fury talking about how he was doing ******* and alcohol and it was ruining his life so much that he took Nandrolone then tested positive and to make it all go away he retired, had someone write him a book and then used the mental health card to make people forget. This is the same Tyson Fury who still drinks alcohol (a depressant) and brags about it lol clearly it was all a fabrication for him just to continue enjoying the party lifestyle without any repercussions.

Charlo has had a drinking problem for years, some would say that's a mental health issue and yeah it can be but I don't think that's the case here. He just likes to live it up and now he's going broke buying iced out Cuban links that depreciate in value as soon it you put it around your neck like all these other lame ass wannabe rappers.
