Dubois has been protected since Joyce broke his face. He got an easy path to this title shot. Lerena is a decent fighter but nowhere near Usyk’s level. I expect a wide UD or maybe a stoppage late. Beating Lerena & Bryan doesn’t get you ready for Usyk.

There's no doubt Daniel is big and strong and hits hard ,but it seems his chin or ...punch resistance isn't equal to his power. It's the heavyweights but I can't see anything other than a schooling for Daniel . My only doubt is that Usyk at heavyweight ,has only looked good against Joshua who only dared to let his hands go in the ninth of their second fight and seemed to bother him.

It's a good fight because it's not placing Usyk on the train tracks to ruin a unification fight with the actual champion later in the year/early next. But it is ALSO a fight that is not as easy to call as most Usyk lovers think.

If Usyk stays busy and mobile he should give Dubois a boxing clinic.
But...if he does do that, it will mark the FIRST TIME that he beats a prime, world class man over 200 lbs who isn't gun shy.

That's the kind of preparation for Fury that Usyk has yet to undertake.

I can't imagine Dubois leaving anything he's got offensively on the table.

Well then you clearly don't understand boxing because they don't fight anything alike

Chisora is actually very good at coming in behind a jab and collapsing in the pocket to get on a fighter's chest and he can (or used to be able to) do that for 12 Rounds, which means he's always going to give a former cruiserweight issues at times until they can maintain distance, that's when Chisora has problems.

If the likes of Daniel Dubois tried to fight in that style, they would be gassed after two rounds and get taken out. Dubois is a fighter that can only fight at mid-range which is perfect for Usyk.


They're relying on a punchers chance here. Could it happen? Sure, stranger things have happened. But realistically, how often does a true elite fighter lose to a punchers chance? Almost never.

I remember watching the Chisora fight and thinking it looked like Usyk was seeing how much he could take. He never stepped on the gas. The recent pics of him look frightening. I think he ko's Dubois around 7.

I remember watching the Chisora fight and thinking it looked like Usyk was seeing how much he could take. He never stepped on the gas. The recent pics of him look frightening. I don't know how Usyk can make a statement fighting glass jaw boxers like Dubois. Really - - impress me by beating Wilder or Fury. The only other worthy heavyweight is Jared Anderson but he's still unproven. All of the other fighters in the heavyweight division are not just bums of the month, but bums of the century. The real fight would have been Fury versus Usyk but I hold Fury responsible for that match not happening. I could give a rat's ass about him fighting Ngannou. An absolute waste of everyone's time. I sure the hell wouldn't pay a nickel to see that. Dubois could get lucky and land a big punch as Usyk is really a cruiserweight. But I suspect that Usyk will be on his bicycle and wear down Dubois and might even knock him out as Dubois can't take a punch. Another fight I could care less about. Absolutely nothing happening in the heavyweight division.

How did I lose I didn’t get beat up? Lol. Can’t be right all the time I don’t take fight predictions personally like some people. It’s sports. The fights over now. next week I’ll probably be right.
