Of course you are alluding to the Castillo and Maidana fights that Floyd rematches and won again.
Would you say Crawford has a better resume than Floyd? You would have to be a true casual fan to say that.

Crawford is a great boxer. Would be a great mythical matchup between him and Floyd and we can argue all day about it but career wise, Crawford is not even close to Floyd by a mile.

Not saying Floyd wasn’t a great boxer because he absolutely was. Crawford is more complete imo. He’s never had a bout that you questioned if he won he completely dominates and knocks people out. He isn’t looking to catch guys ready to retire either he moved up fought everyone he could get in the ring who had a belt beat em all. Floyd’s matchups were very calculated and timed out. They’re two different fighters Crawford is just more complete imo is all I’m saying which I think makes him better.
Also it’s well known that Spence was touching up Mayweather pretty good in sparring sessions and Crawford toyed with him a bigger stronger more experienced version.

The more I think about it, I do think PBC were trying to maximize Spence before ever having to fight Bud. Mayweather definitely told the powers that be that Bud was all wrong for Errol. I don't think Errol was scared but they wanted to protect their key attraction and keep the money train going.

stop it. FLOYD HAD A SD WIN AGAINST A PAST PRIME OVER THE HILL DE LA HOYA WHO GOT STOPPED BY MANNY SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND THEN HAD A CONTROVERSIAL WIN AGAINST CASTILLO WHO MAJORITY THOUGHT HE LOST. BUT YAH FLOYD IS LEVELS ABOVE BUD HUH?

It depends. Old school fighters had to fight more often and you just had more people who were fighters, so there were a lot of opponents to go through. So yes, Bud aint have to do that or done it

But when you just look at his skills and abilities, I really do rate him as a top 5 ATG WW. Maybe even higher. Hard to think anyone can match up to Robinson, but feel like Bud might beat any other WW

His combination of skills including being able to control the postion of your opponent. Bud was a wrestler and I think that gives him this huge advantage. And his ability to land power shots from any range at all, plus his ability to adapt and read and use patterns. That combo of skills is crazy

Plus I have never seen a fighter use a hook to counter a jab so much, the dude does things no other fighter does

Well said, Robinson went thru Europe in 8 months or so with 10+ fights, 6-7 fights a year was common. Hard to put anyone ahead of Robinson every fighter he lost to he avenged, he defeated 10 HOFs, his body of work is undefeated, Even Ali admits he was the best ( Ali still says HE was the greatest of course). Secondly I would have to say Bud is undeniable the most natural fighter with the most unnaturally skillsets and abilities I've seen in a long time, combination of Whitaker, James Toney, with Julian Jackson power

After this doesn't look like even Boots has a chance--but I could be wrong--like many were wrong about Spence. Crawford looks unbeatable for now.

I'm pretty sure that Boots would land much more than Spence - he has the complete offensive toolbox. Would getting tagged often slow Bud down? How good is Boots' chin? it seems ok but everyone has a limit. I'd love to see this fight.
