I agree SRR was nothing like RJJ, fought with a completely different style and tempo. Roy Jones Jrin his prime is still the most impressive fighter I've seen..he was just scintillating at his athletic peak

I’d put my money on him to do the same to Charlo if he were to move up and get that fight. I think almost everyone underestimates his power. Not only does he have power he has the skill set to use it very effectively. He didn’t ever look like he was even breathing hard Saturday.

So not having a controversial secession is the criteria to measure greatness?
Oscar has two controversial wins (Felix Sturm and Whitaker), Roy Jones has a controversial win over Tarver, Mosley has a controversial win over Oscar, Andre Ward has a controversial win over Kovalev, and the list goes on and on.

Of course you are alluding to the Castillo and Maidana fights that Floyd rematches and won again.
Would you say Crawford has a better resume than Floyd? You would have to be a true casual fan to say that.

Crawford is a great boxer. Would be a great mythical matchup between him and Floyd and we can argue all day about it but career wise, Crawford is not even close to Floyd by a mile.

Trinidad got EXPOSED as truly one-dimensional by Hopkins and that got cemented by Winky Wright who literally used just the jab to pepper Trinidad into retirement. I have never seen an elite boxer look so confused and defeated as Tito did when he fought Winky. Tito had zero plan B and couldn’t even adjust a little to make it a good fight.
100 percent. elite counter punchers were tito's kryptonite and bud has power. Tito would wipe the floor with spence though.

No way we can say for sure that Trinidad would've lost to Bud at WW based on that because you're basing it off of two fights at MW, one against an ATG at that weight and the other against a strong HOF who was fighting a way past it Trinidad. You're probably basing it on the skills that you saw on Saturday and not what you saw against Porter. Again, Bud is great fighter and is possible that he could've beat Tito just like any other fighter with that same skill set but that never happened and there's no strong evidence at WW to say otherwise

stop it. FLOYD HAD A SD WIN AGAINST A PAST PRIME OVER THE HILL DE LA HOYA WHO GOT STOPPED BY MANNY SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND THEN HAD A CONTROVERSIAL WIN AGAINST CASTILLO WHO MAJORITY THOUGHT HE LOST. BUT YAH FLOYD IS LEVELS ABOVE BUD HUH?

This is ridiculous. Why are people acting like Spence was a prime Sugar Ray Robinson? Crawford won a fighter over a good welterweight. He didn't beat a hall of famer. He beat a good fighter. Stop the cape. He's not the first person to look impressive beating a B level fighter.

The DLH that fought Floyd was not the same version that fought Pac. It wasn't even in the same division
