Since the fight, I've been enjoying going back and reading the various NSB posters over the years "explaining" why Spence was levels above Crawford.

A lot of these enlightened fellows would tell those that disagreed with them that they didn't know $h#t about boxing.

I thought it was a fairly even matchup but favored Crawford. I was wrong about that, nowhere close to an even matchup. At least I didn't pretend to know what I was talking about....

PBR - yeah, I thought it was pretty even, like 55/45 & was I wrong! I shoulda known, Bud is miles above. He just has to be given his full credit. Like Floyd, like Manny, like Pernell, like RJJ. Spence got completely dominated.
His face was looking real bad after 3 rounds.
He took Alot of flush punches.

If I were Spence's handlers i'd have him take some serious time off to rest and recover.
An immediate rematch would not serve Spence well IMO.

You are correct about his face he looked bad before the fight even started, and as it progressed it got worst, sure it did. And if he were to want to be sure and be safe then the best thing for him to do is stay away from Crawdaddy. And know this i enjoyed every punch he took and i wish the ref would have let it continue into the next round and then some. But that is me. His people ? They have his best interest at heart maybe maybe not. Or they may get blinded by there own motives and Spence who will never be the same he may be blinded too by his own thoughts of avenging this loss. And if he continues to get hit like last night he may get Tin Cup blinded in the ring, it happens you know.......
