I think first time I saw Bud was when he fought Prescott on the undercard of Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado on HBO.

Don't remember him ever being more locked in and sharp as he was last night. By 2nd round, it was pretty obvious he was a whole other level above his opposition.

I never seen errol as the real challenge to bud, he's not special but Ennis is. I agree his competition hasn't been brilliant but people simply avoid fighting him and for good reason. He'd also wipe the floor with spence
Which is why Thurman @ 154, was Option B for Spence, not Boots @ 147! Boots needs Crawford, win, lose, or draw! Sugar had to fight Duran, Hearns, and Hagler, whether he was favorite or not! Canelo became a better fighter after Mayweather! Steel Sharpens Steel!

Sure canelo became a better fighter but he was very young it was a clever calculated decision by mayweather to fight him when he did. His performance that night was flawless. Would mayweather in his late 30's have taken on a challenge with boots -I think not! And I feel bud will avoid it too

Oscar left TR, Mayweather left TR, Cotto left TR, Miikey left TR, and Pacquiao left TR! Bud chose to stay. However, he's PBC now, and I guarantee you he made Top Dollar last night!
PBC did business with Crawford at Top Rank until he got to 147. That's the important thing to remember here. They didn't want to do business with him once he got to 147. It's easy to see why. Haymon knew that Crawford would beat his guys easily. All of them. Even pre-crash Spence. I'm interested in what Jermell does post Canelo. Will Haymon be willing to match him with Crawford at 154? I think Crawford beats him.

Floyd was 36 when he faced Canelo. Crawford will be 36 in September.

Boots isn't with PBC, right? Expect the usual roadblock.

That was before Bob Arum sued Al Haymon, and lost!

He's with Showtime, but no contract with Al Haymon. I don't think that's a road block, or Ruiz wouldn't have fought Joshua, and Fulton wouldn't have fought Inoue in Japan!
