Chris John Vs Yuriorkis Gamboa or Chris John Vs Juan Manuel Lopez would be highly entertaining fights for the boxing world Imo.I wouldn't mind seeing any of those fights

gamboa is too amateurish,he swings wildly, the guy doesn't even throw body shots, never seen him go to the body, always wild, juanma needs to fight caballero since he's always talking about money, thats the biggest money fight for him,he has no excuses, gamboa needs more experience against top notch fighters, otherwise he'll start with the excuses as why he lost

Hate to see a great talent with a great future get bogged down too early.

I will never understand why they dont put guys like juanma and gamboa on undercards of ppv fights. Imagine one of them two on the undercard of mayweather v marquez. More exciting, more well rounded card.
1-no way arum would be willing to put juan ma or gamboa on a gbp undercard...arum too greedy to do that and he don't want gbp to get thoughts to try and steal one of them from him .2-juan ma is at a stage where he thinks, emphasize on thinks, that he is too good to be on anyone's undercard.he thinks he should already be making million dollars such as on the cab fight, and headlining cards.it would have been nice to have him on the undercard of the nov 14th fight tho..

I think he should fight John before he fights Lopez.

yea, i think from 126-147 ,should be great ,if everyone says healthy and dont get big headed bout the $$$$.. Yea if everything goes accordingly ,arum wants to get juanma and gamboa for the sat before pr parade in msg 2010 ,should still be great fight ,might be a big time rival between those two,..but u know how arum is greedy like that..

Gamboa is pure athletic talent and needs more time to develop. I think he will be exposed badly if he gets in there with an elite level fighter.

Maybe you should actually watch some of his fights dude, his debut fight he throws a lot of body shots, he also sets up a lot of his biggest knockouts with them, like Walter Estrada and Al Seeger... though it's a lot more obvious against Estrada

Personally I'm a bit torn about him moving up in opposition quickly, it seems like there's a lot of pros and cons for it... I know it's not professional experience but he has already beaten a lot of very good boxers, one look at his amateur credentials can tell you that; maybe he's ready. I think more than anything it's important for him just to stay busy at this point, it's been almost 6 months between fights for him this time, and he was taking almost one per month before, already racking up around triple the fights the other Cuban prospects have... I don't like the way hes slowed down given the fact hes not as young as a lot of other prospects, and given his fiery temperament momentum is probably a very good thing for him... maybe winning a title (even such a questionable one) this fast is bad for him in a way
